Jack Taylor is an off spinner and found his Gloucestershire first XI break in Twenty20 in 2011, taking a memorable 4 for 16 in victory over Somerset. He gradually took over as the club's first-choice spinner in first-class cricket too. Jack has made over 4500 first team runs and taken 130 wickets in all formats.
Taylor is a very useful batsman, too, an aggressive stroke maker who has made his ten first class Championship centuries. His danger with the bat was never more apparent than in a rain-affected Royal London tie against Derbyshire in Bristol when Gloucestershire chased a D/L recalculation of 68 in four overs, Taylor getting 41 from 14 balls.
His finest moment of his career so far I am sure was his Man of the Match winning performance in the Royal London One Day Cup Final against Surrey in 2015, making 35 with the bat and taking a 3fer with the ball.
